PURPOSE OF POSITION:
Responsible for recruiting hourly, non-exempt positions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Partner with supervisors, employees and EHS team to develop and/or update job descriptions and job specifications.
- Prepare recruitment materials and post jobs internally and externally to recruit a qualified, diverse workforce.
- Source and recruit candidates utilizing databases, social media, etc.
- Screen and interview candidates selecting the most qualified for employment.
- Complete onsite tours of facilities with candidates.
- Organize interviews, as needed, and ensure candidate and management experience is smooth.
- Coordinate drug screens, reference and background checks; review for acceptable results prior to start dates.
- Provide current recruitment reports to management; review/analyze reports to improve time to fill and turnover.
- Partner with the HR Coordinator to recommend and organize programs that increase employee engagement and retention of quality employees.
- Conduct exit interviews with hourly associates to determine ways to improve processes and experience.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma; some college preferred.
Three (3) to five (5) years’ experience as a Recruiter with heavy experience recruiting hourly associates in a production/manufacturing environment.
SHRM certification preferred.
Highly proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
